“You can feel a beautiful sense of community as soon as you walk in the door. I love that Robyn (the Director) has been there for over 30 years, and many others in the team have also worked there for decades plus. To me it shows a deep respect for staff wellbeing, which translates into incredible relationships with the carers and kids. I feel so lucky my sons get to learn in such a caring environment.” – Current 3s kinder parent Join us for three-year-old kinder in 2026.

A Little About Us

The Kath Foley Children’s Centre Kindergarten Inc commenced operation in 1985. We offer long day care for children ages 0-6 years, and funded 3’s and 4’s kindergarten. We are proudly community based, and not for profit.

An incorporated parent-based Committee of Management undertakes the management of the Centre.

We provide education and care for the following age groups:

Banksia

We aim to provide a welcoming, nurturing environment for all children and their families. Supporting children’s agency and growing independence is important to us, so our routines are arranged as valuable learning opportunities where children are active participants and decision makers.

Wattle

In the Wattle room we use play as a vehicle for learning. During the day children engage in play areas that are planned to support different aspects of learning and that reflect the interests of the children.

Blackwood

Our 3’s kinder is integrated into long day care at no additional cost. Families can access childcare subsidy and long day care hours. Blackwood sessions are run by an early childhood teacher each day with long day care before and after.

Redgum

During their kindergarten year children form a strong sense of their own identity and establish and build on relationships with others. We believe that if children are to reach their full potential, that their kindergarten environment must be inclusive and free from bias, where they are happy, have fun and feel valued for their individuality.
